Jen Marr
Co-Founder/COO
Working with both venture capital startups as well as Fortune 500 companies, Jen has achieved widespread business experience on both a national and international level.
Prior to co-founding Carolyn & Co. Media, Jen spent the majority of her career working at Henry Schein, a Fortune 500 health care corporation. Beginning in Europe, Jen traveled extensively between the company's 10 offices throughout Europe creating cohesive pan-European marketing and purchasing operations. Jessica Lim
Creative
Before founding her own design agency DoubleYolks Inc. in 2002, Jessica worked with international fashion and luxury companies to establish and extend their brands to the web medium. Jessica has been responsible for the successful launch of various web based projects and businesses. She has been recognized by the Art Director's Club, OneShow Interactive Awards and The American Design Awards.
Since 2005, Jessica has consulted with Starwood Hotels & Resort's Global Web Services group, leading large-scale, international web projects for Le Meridien, W Hotels and aloft which included the launch of an award-winning and widely recognized project involving the execution of the first ever virtual hotel in Second Life (www.virtualaloft.com).
In 2007, Jessica joined the Carolyn & Co. Media team. Her experience leading web-based projects for global brands, constant immersion in web design and brand development, and passion for entrepreneurship will ensure Carolyn & Co. Media’s launch and delivery of a successful online Brand experience.

Domenica de Fazio
Research & Strategy
Domenica has more than 11 years of interactive experience on both the agency and client sides of the software development business across a variety of industries such as retail, finance, healthcare, telecom, and media.
During her career, Domenica has overseen and participated in countless projects for BtoB and BtoC web properties in a variety of roles such as designing complex front-end user interface architecture schemes and more recently, overseeing and conducting customer research studies through focus groups, field studies, and usability testing labs. Through her work, Domenica has impacted business strategies and online/offline customer experiences for clients such as General Electric, Nike, JP Morgan Chase, Nickelodeon, and Condé Nast.
Through her extensive web background and commitment to the customer experience, Domenica will play an important role on the Carolyn & Co. Media team. |

Kevin Fricovsky
Technology
An extremely passionate technical solutions leader, Kevin is known for his ability to take a project from concept phase to market and deliver powerful, simple, and elegant software solutions.
Prior to joining Carolyn & Co. Media, Kevin was lead on numerous high-profile projects. He headed the technical vision for Broadway.Com and Theater.com, the premiere online ticketing destinations for Broadway theater. Also, he led the architecture and development of mission-critical application solutions for a variety of clients, including JPMorgan, Chase, and Pfizer.
An active proponent and contributor in the open source community, Kevin focused his energy on two popular .net open source projects, lending his programming and journalism background to promote each project's missions and goals throughout the community.
With more than 8 years of web industry experience, Kevin is an endless resource in solution opportunities to maximize potential and reduce costs. His passion and experience in technical research, solution architecture, development, quality assurance, information design and usability will help lead the technical success of Carolyn & Co. Renata Bowers
Copywriter
With more than 15 years of experience in retail, ad, publicity, speech and promotional writing, Renata brings a depth of writing capabilities to Carolyn & Co. Media.
Renata was hired out of college as copywriter for Lands' End, a company whose catalog long has been heralded for its engaging and informative text. In addition to overseeing the copy and creative for various clothing lines within the catalog, Renata was the sole copywriter for the company's regional print ads.
After four years at Lands' End, Renata was hired by Vollmer Public Relations in Houston, TX, where she quickly developed a niche, specializing in creating a consumer-friendly voice for each of her regional and national clients, and using that voice to develop/land continual key placements in national print and broadcast media outlets. Clients included Travelocity, Minute Maid, Weider Nutrition Group, Riviana Foods, Pennzoil and The Susan B. Komen Foundation.
Having enjoyed more than ten years with Vollmer, Renata made the decision to stay at home full-time with her two young boys. She continued -- and continues -- to volunteer her writing skills to various non-profit organizations.
Today, with her boys now in school, Renata is back at work, and brings her love of writing, career, and family to Carolyn & Co. Media. |

Andrew Van Etten
Senior Advisor
Andrew brings over 20 years of solid operational and managerial
experience and has held a series of global leadership roles as both a
strategic investor and international partner for dozens of internet
and media start-ups as well as Global Fortune 1000 companies. Andrew
served as a Senior Director for Mitsui & Co., (USA) Inc., one of the
world's leading conglomerates. During his tenure, beginning in 1989
through 2006, he represented Mitsui's Information Business and
Consumer Services Divisions. Mr. Van Etten was the catalyst for many
of Mitsui's high tech investments and spearheaded the establishment
of numerous companies in Japan. Andrew held various board member and
advisory positions. His portfolio of partners include some of the
internet's best and most successful companies such as America Online,
LinkShare (acquired by Rakuten), Epsilon (acquired by Alliance Data),
Efficient Frontier, Miva, Feedster and Advertising.com (acquired by
America Online) etc. Andrew lead Mitsui's investments in advertising
networks, media properties and created a leading interactive agency
and ad network in Japan with client such as American Express, Dell,
Apple, JAL, Toshiba, Avon, Sony, and NEC. Andrew also serves as a
Managing Director for World Technology Corporation, an international
and venture consulting practice; and is currently a member of the
board for Opt Intelligence, a leading opt-in ad network.
